Sonia Singh is a first-year graduate student in Clinical Psychology. She is originally from Houston, TX where she earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Houston and a MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Before arriving at BGSU, Sonia worked at the Houston OCD Program as a Residential Counselor. Her research interests include therapy process/outcome research in contextual behavior therapies - specifically within Functional Analyic Psychotherapy (FAP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Sonia is also interested in anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive spectrum conditions, and multicultural/LGBT issues. After graduate school Sonia hopes to find a career in the world of academics. For fun she enjoys listening to live music, traveling, and searching for farmers markets and food trucks
