Biography
Dr. Seca AML research interests are vegetal extracts (plants and macroalga) and pure secondary metabolites as biopesticides and as antiaging agents; Additionally I´m interested in the co-sustainable enhancement of Cystoseira abies-marina and Caulerpa webbiana. I use mostly chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques such as TLC, CC, GC-MS, HPLC-MS, NMR and MS. Currently I'm involved in the MacBioPest, MaBioBlue, 3BVent, and ASPAZOR projects.
