Rosaley Prakaschandra is awarded PhD from School of Clinical Medicine; University of KwaZulu-Natal. She trained and qualified as a Cardiac Technologist, and practiced for 15 years before joining the Clinical Technology Programme in 2009. She has been involved in the training of medical staff and students as well as in academic research, particularly in the field of cardiovascular research and diagnostic techniques. She presently lectures Organ and Systems Pathophysiology in the second level, Cardiology Biomedical Apparatus and Clinical Practice in the third level and Cardiology IV at the Bachelor of Technology level. Dr Prakaschandra is also involved with co-supervision of students at Masters Level. She is the Curriculum co-ordinator for the Clinical Technology programme.
