Robert Saper
Director of Integrative Medicine for the Boston Medical Center Department of Family Medicine and an Associate Professor in the Boston University Schools of Medicine and Public Health
Dr. Saper is associate professor of family medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine and director of the Boston Medical Center Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Care Disparities. He has over 25 years of experience building research, educational, and clinical programs in patient-centered integrative medicine. He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1988 and UCSF family medicine residency in 1992. After being in private practice for 8 years in the San Francisco Bay area, he completed the three year Harvard Medical School Integrative Medicine Research Fellowship in 2004. Dr. Saper also serves on the Executive Committee of the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine and Health. His research interests include integrative medicine for the underserved, yoga for chronic back pain, and traditional Indian medicine.
