Olaf Mercier

Biography

Pr Olaf Mercier teaches Thoracic Surgery At Paris-Sud University. As Thoracic Surgeon at the Marie Lannelongue Hospital he is the scientific coordinator in charge of Project Bioart-Lung 2020, a unique medical adventure. The development of a portable artificial lung, will provide help to more than 10 000 patients in France. His areas of research interests are Cancer, Pulmonary Hypertension, Lung Transplantation, Heart-Lung Transplantation, Lung Cancer Surgery. He published 321 articles in many journals and the articles are informative and got good citations.
