He was awarded PhD in Environmental Engineering from UPM Malaysia in 2002. He holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Chemical Engineering (System Engineering), from UPM Malaysia in the year 1998, and a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Chemical Engineering (Textile technology) from Gezira University Sudan in the year 1988. He has extended his valuable service as an Associate Professor in International Islamic University Malaysia as a lecturer since 2002, Assistant Lecturer since 2004 and an associate professor since 2007 and has been a recipient of many award and grants. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests as a Professor reflect in his/her wide range of publications in various national and international journals. He is a member of various associations and his research interests include Environmental Engineering and Water and waste-water treatment.
