Biography
Modesto Leite Rolim Neto Full Professor for the Public Health School of the University of São Paulo (2012). Post-PhD in Public Health from the University of São Paulo - USP (2011). Post-PhD in Linguistics from the Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE (2006).Doctor of Health Sciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN (2005). He has experience in Public Health with emphasis in Public Mental Health, working as a teacher, researcher and princialmente advisor in the following areas of research: Suicidology (investigating the oral narratives of the subjects involved with bipolar disorder and their influence on suicidal behavior) ; Social policies (analyzing concept maps through the different hues in the development of qualitative research in mental health and social policies, in the Northeast of Brazil); Information Technology and Communication, Narrativity and Identities Plural (dealing with didactic and systematic way the main references of qualitative approach in various skills and areas of coverage of medical anthropology at translating the various nuances where Posas ethnography act) and Social Psychiatry (analyzing In particular, the narratives of health professionals involved in the care of the mentally ill, given their social reintegration, in the face of new proposals recommended by psychiatric reform). He participated in 2014 in the organization of two works: Neuroscience and Human Development's Health and Prison System: Issues in Debate. In 2013 it launched: Computing Technologies for aid in qualitative research: EVOC software; Hidden tears and Silences: childhood depression as family experience and Children and adolescents mental health services Children and Youth. In 2012 also launched: Collective Mental Health: Clinics and vulnerabilities. He has published articles in international and national journals.Recently participated in the preparation of the chapter: Discourses and representations of black women in the fight against depression, the Publishing House of the Psychologist (Dec / 2014), the titled work: Identity, whiteness and blackness - contributions to social psychology in Brazil: new tests , experience and research reports.
