Professor Marwan Alhalabi received his medical and post graduate training in obstetrics and gynecology at faculty of medicine, Damascus University. He obtained PhD degree in reproductive medicine and infertility from University of Franche-Comte, France.
He is now associate professor in reproductive medicine and embryology at Damascus University, Head of assisted reproduction unit and consultant medical director of Orient Hospital.
His research interests include: implantation failure, adenomyosis, anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) and non-obstructive azoospermia.
He has Published more than 30 papers in reproductive medicine, edited two textbooks, supervised many masters and doctorates, held two honorary memberships, got many local and regional awards, and finally in 2012 he was elected president of Middle East Fertility Society (MEFS).
