Biography

Makilim Nunes Baptista is working as professor in Laboratory of Psychological Assessment in Mental Health –LAPSAM III, São Francisco University, Brazil. Research experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of Social Anxiety Disorder, Depression and Aging, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Mindfullness Based Therapy and Cognitive Disorders.

Research Interest

 Focuses on construction and evidence of validity of assessment tools in mental health of children, adults and senior citizens; has been developing the following scales: BAIDD-IJ – Battery of Depression Indicators (child/youth version) – which assesses depression, loneliness, self-esteem, self-concept, self-efficacy, loneliness, helplessness and hopelessness; Family of scales EBADEP – Baptista Depression Scale (Adult, Child/Youth, Senior Citizen and Hospital versions); EPD – Depressive Thoughts Scale; IPSF/EPSUS – Inventory and Scale of Perception of Family and Social Support (Adult and Child/Youth); EMVIVER – Reasons for Living Scale; EVIPI/EVESCO – Scales of Violence between Intimate Partners and School Violence; INIEV – Inventory of Life Events; ECA – Cognitive Scale of Anxiety; EVENT – Scale of Stress Vulnerability at Work, among others.
