Biography
Luisa Di Paola is currently working in the Campus Bio-Medico di Roma University, via Alvaro del Portillo, Rome, Italy. Luisa main research interest lies in the biological system modeling, through theoretical and computational tools. To date, a research line of Luisa outmost interest deals with protein contact networks, a novel formalism interpreting protein structures as complex networks. A recent line regards the application of transport phenomena to plant systems, to interpret map of hormone distribution in terms of differentiation and growth.
Research Interest
Research interests include molecular thermodynamics of complex systems, industrial production of hydrogen, artificial organs, protein systems biology and kinetic models for tumor growth. Her main research interest lies in the biological system modeling, through theoretical and computational tools.
