Biography

Dr. Lu-Gang Yu is currently working as a Professor Glyco-oncology at University of Liverpool. Author’s significant publications include “Glycosylation Change in Cancer as Therapeutic Target: Opportunities and Challenges”. Author current research interests include Glycobiology, Cancer Research, Apoptosis, Cell Adhesion, Cancer Metastasis.

Research Interest

His research is focused on cell glycosylation and carbohydrate-binding proteins (in particular the galactoside-binding galectins) in cancer progression and metastasis, and the development of novel anti-metastasis agents.
