Biography
I have been head of the Pediatric Emergency Service at the Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Hospital since 2010. I graduated in Medicine in 1982 and after specializing in Pediatrics, I focused my career on Urgent Care. In 1992 I got my doctorate in this specialty from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I have been president of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Emergencies, and I am currently coordinator of the Emergency Working Group of the Catalan Society of Pediatrics and member of the Working Group on Patient Quality and Safety of the Spanish Association of Pediatrics.
