Biography
Dr. Lars Vedel Kessing is presently working as Clinical professor at the UC Davis Alzheimer’s Disease Center- East Bay. He completed his degree in psychology from University of Copenhagen. The main scientific aims are to investigate biological, including genetic, and psychological risk factors for onset, course and outcome in affective disorders as well as the effect of treatment in relation to these issues. Further, research focuses on cognition and risk of dementia in affective disorder. Research interest includes Bipolar Disorder, Anti Depressant, Community Psychiatry, Mood Disorders, Mental Illness.
