K. S. Reddy

Biography

He was awarded PhD in Energy Studies: Solar Energy from I.I.T. Delhi, India in the year 1999.  He holds a Master Degree M. Tech.in Energy Systems from J.N.T.U. Hyderabad, India in the year 1994 and a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, India in the year 1991. He has extended his valuable service as a Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering at I.I.T. Madras, India since 2013 and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, he is working as a Professor for I.I.T. Madras, India and is the Head of Heat Transfer & Thermal Power Laboratory. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests as a Professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  He is the Editorial Board Member of reputed journals and serves as a member of various associations like Indian Society for Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT),Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), Solar Energy Society of India(SESI) and International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Indian Chapter.

 Solar Energy, Energy & Environment, Energy Efficiency and Energy Auditing, Thermal Power Engineering, Heat Transfer in Dispersed systems,Thermo-Physical Properties of Two-Phase Systems.
