Dr. Joao Paulo Noronha is working as Assistant professor in Department of Chemistry, REQUIMTE, Faculty of Science and Technology, New University of Lisbon, Caparica, Portugal. He awarded with Ph.D. in organic chemistry. He holds his Masters degree in Chemistry. His research mainly focuses on Organic chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry.
Following his doctoral work, remains Involved in the isolation and identification of natural products with biological activity, with emphasis on studies of oxidant and antioxidant properties. New research However started in the area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹chiral compounds of Chemometrics (Construction of database for the use of Neural Networks in predicting the computational enantioselectivity), Biodiesel, Biofuels, Analysis of xenobiotics, Antibiotics and Pesticides, Analysis of Proteins, Radical Chemistry, Synthesis of Ionic Liquids, Proteomics, Biosensors, Involving all the expertise developed in the area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹chromatography and hyphenated techniques, with emphasis on the GC-MS and LC-MS, Allowing its application to new areas of research.
