J. Dawn Abbott

Biography

J. Dawn Abbott, M.D., is the Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Training Program at Brown and an interventional cardiologist at Rhode Island Hospital. Her clinical research focuses on percutaneous coronary intervention and peripheral arterial disease. She is a Co-Investigator on the NIH-Sponsored MINT Trial, a grant that is funding a pilot trial to evaluate the role of transfusion therapy in patients with symptomatic coronary artery disease. She is the Site-Principal Investigator at Rhode Island Hospital for several NIH funded studies
