He was awarded PhD in Arid Land Research Center from Tottori University, Japan in 1993. Dr. Guo Yu Qiu is currently affiliated to Peking University, P. R. China, continuing research in the specialized scientific area of Environmental Science and Technology. He holds a Master Degree from Lanzhou Desert Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Science, China (1987), followed by a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) from Inner Mongolia Forestry College, China in the year 1984. He has extended his valuable service as professor in Shenzhen Graduate School, Peking and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, he is working as a Professor at School of Environment and Energy, Peking University, China. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests as a professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals. Dr. Guo Yu Qiu has authored several articles along with chapters in different books related to Environment and Energy.
