He obtained his PhD in Economics from Université de Paris X-Nanterre during 1984. Fendric Lantz is affiliated to the IFP Énergies Nouvelles, IFP School, Avenue Napoléon Bonaparte, Rueil-Malmaison, France and research interests include energy and the environmental modelling. Currently he is a Professor at IFP School and Supervisor for the Master's program in Environmental Economics, Sustainable Development and Energy at IFP Energies nouvelles, France where he has been serving since 1991. He teaches statistical methods in econometrics and operational research for energy and the environment.His research work has involved him in the development of IFP Energies nouvelles refining models and the development of methods for quantitative analysis of energy demand and energy pricing. His research and studies are carried out mostly within the framework of collaborative programs with the European Commission (DG-Tren, IPTS) and with the major companies of the energy sector.
