Biography
Erik D’Hondt joined Bioven in 2009 as Head of R&D and Regulatory. Erik is a highly experienced drug development executive who worked for 28 years at SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline) in biologicals research and regulatory roles. More recently, Erik was Vice-President of Therapeutics at Europe’s Innogenetics (now Fujirebio Europe) and he has also consulted widely in Asia for institutes and biotechnology companies. He was an adviser to the World Health Organisation on preparedness for pandemic influenza.
