Sublingual Immunotherapy

Sublingual immunotherapy is an alternative way to treat allergies without injections. It is a form immunotherapy involving allergy tablets in which allergens are in solid or liquid form. They are usually placed under tongue.

They reduce the symptoms and boost tolerance to the allergen. However risks relate to the nature of the treatment whether it is administered at home or under clear guidance of allergists.
