He began his medical career when he joined the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). From 1959 to 1962 he was part of the team that organized the workshop Of the Heart Surgery Service of Professor Zerbini2, And also Member of the team of equipment and valves for heart surgery Of the Department of Surgical Technique and Experimental Surgery of FMUSP. It was in the Years of 1960 and 1961, when assistant of the particular surgical service of the teacher.
