Mr. Finitsis is currently a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut and is expected to complete his requirements for the doctoral degree in 2015. His research includes work on the physiology and treatment of anxiety disorders as well as risk reduction and medication adherence in people living with HIV. He is serving as an editorial member of the journal AIDS and Behavior, and serves as an expert Reviewer for the journal Biological Psychology. He has received both internally and externally awarded fellowships to conduct his research while pursuing his degree and has authored 6 research articles/books including 4 first authored publications.
