Dr. Ciesla is a trauma and acute care surgeon whose specialties include trauma, emergency general surgery, surgical critical care and general surgery. Dr. Ciesla is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where he also completed his surgical internship, general surgery residency and his surgical critical care fellowship. He has served on the surgical faculty at Denver Health Medical Center from 2002 to 2006, the medical director the Regional Level I Trauma Program at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. from 2006 to 2008.
