Dr Costas Papageorgiou, worked as Senior Clinical Psychologist at North Manchester General Hospital and Research Fellow at the University of Manchester From 1997 to 2002. From 2002 to 2005, he was the Deputy Director of the Specialist Service for Affective Disorders in Manchester, he has been working as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Priory Hospital Altrincham. His expertise and research has focused on cognitive-behavioral and metacognitive theories and therapies of emotional disorders, particularly depression and anxiety disorders including obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
