Biography

Cheryl L Person completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Psychology in Mills Colleg in 1990-1992, followed by Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Tulane University School of Medicine in 1996-2000, She was a resident of Psychiatry Residency Program at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2000 – 2004 and fellowship in Psychiatric Epidemiology in Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.She served as a Director of 701 Outpatient psychiatry clinic. Chair of Disaster Psychiatry Committee. Taught longitudinal psychotherapy to third year psychiatry residents. Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in University of Maryland School of Medicine and  UTHealth. She was also the Director of Psychiatric Services, LBJ General Hospital The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and Director of Global Mental Health The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).She is currently working as a Associate Medical Director at UnitedHealth Group
