Chen Yanover

Biography

 Chen Yanover, PhD, is a Research Staff Member in the Machine Learning for Healthcare and Life Sciences group, at IBM Research – Haifa in Israel. Dr. Yanover completed his PhD studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, in 2007. Prior to joining IBM Research in 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Program in Computational Biology, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA; and, later, in the Computer Science Department, BenGurion University, Israel. He devised sequence- and structure-based computational methods to characterize peptide-MHC binding landscapes and, in general, is interested in the development of machine-learning tools to address challenging problems in biology and medicine.
