Biography
   Dr. Brandon Z. Massey is a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hand and wrist, as well as reconstructive plastic surgery. Dr. Massey specializes in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery, such as traumatic and repetitive conditions. He also provides treatment for a wide-variety of surgical problems requiring reconstruction, such as complex wounds. Dr. Massey has been awarded the certificate of added qualification in Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He was formally the Chief of the Section of Plastic Surgery at Tucson Medical Center. He is a clinical assistant professor at University Medical Center in both the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and the Department of Surgery. Dr. Massey completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Saint Louis University as well as a fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery at SUNY-Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He attended medical school at Saint Louis University after completing his undergraduate degrees in molecular and cell biology and ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Massey is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is a native of the southwestern United States, growing up in the Phoenix area and was delighted to return to Tucson after completing his training.
