Bernard Gerbaka

Biography

 Bernard Gerbaka is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in St. Joseph University, Beirut. In 1998, he was elected member of the City Council of Beirut. Since 2003, he is the Lebanese correspondent and co-founder of the Arab professionals' network for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. His research interest includes Child Protection, Medicine, Methods, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medical Care, Critical Care Medicine, Child Protection, Child Maltreatment. He has numerous research papers and articles in reputed journals and has various other achievements in the related studies and has also extended valuable service towards the scientific community with extensive research work. He is a Pediatrician, Chairman of the pediatric department, Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Emergencies, Hotel-Dieu hospital, Beirut, Lebanon.
