Barbara Langland-Orban earned B.S., M.S.P.H. and Ph.D. degrees at the UCLA College of Public Health in Health Services. She has more than 40 years of professional experience in health policy and management, which includes 10 years in hospital management at the UCLA Medical Center and Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. Hospital management responsibilities included quality improvement and strategic and business planning. Dr. Orban was a faculty member at the University of Florida in Health Services Administration from 1985 to 1997 where she served terms as Program Director of the ACEHSA accredited dual degree MBA/MHS program.
