Dr. Bé Wieringa is Professor in Cell Biology (structural chair) and is the head of the Cell Biology Department. Formerly, he was chairman of the board of directors of the research school NCMLS. He was and is member of various scientific advisory and evaluation boards, within the Radboud University and (inter)national Science and Charity Fund organizations. He is also member of the Editorial Board of FEBS Letters and reviewer for journals in the molecular life sciences area. Research interests are in the area of molecular cell biology and molecular genetics.
