B. K. Bala

Biography

He has a PhD from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and was a professor at Bangladesh Agricultural University, My-mensingh, Bangladesh. Professor Bala is at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Policy Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia, 43400 UPM, Serdang, Malaysia. An author of seven books, of which one is on energy and environment and another is on solar drying, his broad areas of research are energy and environment, renewable energy, solar drying of agricultural products, climate change and food security. He can be reached at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Policy Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia, 43400 UPM, Serdang, Malaysia.
