Antonio Luiz Boechat

Biography

Graduated in Medicine in 1998, Internal Medicine in 2000, Rheumatology in 2003 and finished my Ph.D. in Biotechnology in 2010, working with Immunology, Genetics and Autoimmune Diseases, specially Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have worked on the immunogenetics of pro-inflammatory polymorphisms for infectious diseases and autoimmunity. Furthermore, I´m also interested in the immunobiology of inflammation and autoimmunity diseases as well as new treatments development.
