Antonio Egidio Nardi is a Professor of Psychiatry, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Antonio Egidio Nardi was graduated at the medical school of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) (1984). In 1989 completed his master in psychiatry in UFRJ. In 1992 completed his research doctorate in UFRJ. From 1997 to 1998 did his post-doctoral studies in Respiratory Physiology Laboratory of Carlos Chagas Filho Biophysics Institute in UFRJ (IBCCF-UFRJ). Is currently full professor at the medical school of the UFRJ and at the Institute of Psychiatry of UFRJ (IPUB-UFRJ). Coordinates the Laboratory of Panic and Respiration (IPUB-UFRJ) and the INCT Translational Medicine. Has experience in clinical practice, research and teaching in the field of psychiatry.
