Biography
Antón Barreiro- Iglesias research is focused on the study of the development, anatomy and regeneration of different neurotransmitter systems using animal models of successful spinal cord regeneration like lampreys and zebrafish. I am also studying the neurobiology and evolution of neuropeptide signalling systems by using the starfish Asterias rubens and lampreys as model organisms.
