Andrew Cotterill

Biography

 Dr Andrew Cotterill, Queensland Paediatric Endocrinology's principal,is a specialist medical physician, recognised internationally as an expert in diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders in babies, children and adolescents. He has headed the Mater Children's Hospital's paediatric endocrinology unit since 1996 and currently leads the public hospital transition of Mater and Royal Children's Hospitals' paediatric endocrinology departments ahead of the opening of the Queensland Children's Hospital in 2014. Dr Cotterill is a past president of the Australian Paediatric Endocrine Group which fosters a sharing of research and clinical care among paediatric endocrinologists across Australia and New Zealand.
