Biography

Dr. Mottram earned his degree in medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Mottram trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago and then pursued a Fellowship in Medical Toxicology at the Toxikon Consortium. He has a passion for medical education, and has developed and implemented a resident-driven learning program that teaches toxicology core content while focusing on critical thinking skills and the use of primary sources of medical literature to guide clinical decision making. He is involved in basic science research focusing on the effect of cardioactive drugs on cellular electrophysiology. His other interests include resuscitation research.
