Biography

 Mr. Simon Abela holds a B.S. in Engineering from Columbia Southern University and a MS degree in Occupational Health and Safety. Mr Abela has over 22 years of experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety Professional. With diverse portfolio conducting Environmental work, construction projects, and manufacturing industries. Mr Abela is currently perusing in obtaining his CSP (Certified Safety Professional).

Brings experience as consultant working with diverse clientele. Subject Matter Expert in (SME) in Hazardous waste, remediation. Experience in CAA, RCRA, CWA and developing plans to reduce pollution from industrial facilities, oil and gas. Mr, Abela Mr helps clients to obtain air permits and achieve strategic business goals by drawing upon his expert skills in regulatory analysis & negotiation, air emissions calculations, greenhouse gas emissions management, and human health risk and exposure assessment. Responsible to tracking emission, and help clients comply with new NESHAP rules, part 63 and Subpart J and W for Oil and Gas industry. MR Abela has successfully developed and implemented several solid and Hazardous waste management projects, for several clients.

Worked in solving complex issues in water and waste water, and reducing apply engineering principles to reduce water contamination. Mr. Abela has worked in design of water and waste water projects, remediation and restoration of site containing toxic and hazardous chemicals.

Mr Abela Occupational Health and Safety experience include, Hazard identification, LOTO, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, toxic exposure and protection of human health.

Mr. Abela was responsible for all base Closures (environmental) the objective was to complete all existing projects within 90 days, before the departure of all US forces from Iraq.
