Dr. Abdul Rahman Asif is the head of the Clinical Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry at University Medical Center Goettingen (UMG) Germany. He also supervises various diagnostic services at UMG Central Laboratories. He completed his PhD in 2004 from George-August-University, Goettingen, Germany and was awarded with Habilitation and Venia legendi for the "Molecular Medicine" in 2010. He has established a state of the art proteomics facility and developed interactive national and international collaborations. Dr. Asif has over 36 peer reviewed publications and is a regular reviewer for the several clinical and proteomics journals.
