I have a Master’s Degree in Maternity and Neonatal Nursing with Assistant Professor Rank in Academics and 4+ years of proven experience. I have been working effectively and efficiently in both patients’ care and as Nurse Instructor in Debre Tabor University. I am an extremely organized, calm, and patient professional with excellent healthcare skills. I have a passion for providing quality care to patients, and the necessary leadership skills to inspire other staff members to provide above standard levels of service through life time studying. I like learning environment for career development where I can exercise my skills to the fullest extent. In my present role as lecturer and registered nurse at Debre Tabor University and Debre Tabor comprehensive Specialized Hospital, I evaluate the medical conditions of neonates and mentor neonatal students in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Debre Tabor comprehensive and specialized hospital. I have developed and directed a rotational system to manage the care of patients and coordinate workforce management. During this time, I’ve been recognized as a dedicated, ambitious, and reliable person who has the ability to work without supervision.
Remained on leading edge of clinical practice by learning new methods and technologies to pass onto students. ? Collaborated with health specialists and community groups to assess community health needs and address availability of resources. ? Distributed reports, bulletins, and visual aids detailing health related concerns such as neonatal danger signs, antenatal care follow up schedules, vaccines, and disease prevention. ? Supervised students during clinical practice, offering feedback and suggestions for improvement while building confidence. ? Conducted and coordinated health need assessments and public health surveys. ? Supervised and supported nursing students throughout classroom theory and clinical rotations. ? Developed training workshops, conferences and school or community presentations to promote nursing program. ? Built successful nurses using careful evaluation of students learning, progress and clinical reasoning skills Spearheaded research into patient nurse care theory. ?
