Rabiul Ahasan

Biography

Dr Rabiul Ahasan has received his PhD from the University of Oulu (Finland) in the area of occupational safety and ergonomics. During the period of his postdoctoral research at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal (Canada), he has developed spring-loaded foot rest for the long distant passengers to minimize blood clots. Currently, he is working as an associate professor at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) in Malaysia, and teaching clinical courses. Based on this research and fellowship training in the multi-disciplinary area of occupational health, safety and ergonomics, he has received several awards and honors. He is also serving as an editorial member of several reputed and international journals and an expert reviewer for the SCOPUS and ISI listed journals. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and presently represent the Association of Human Performances in Extreme Environment.
