Biography

Dr. Qinglai Meng is a research associate working in Case Western Reserve University, United States. His research focused on immunopathogenesis during HIV infection, HCV infection or HIV/TB co-infection. Currently, he is working on immunotherapy of HIV latent infection. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in microbiology from Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Science, where he developed and evaluated various vaccines of an equine lentivirus (EIAV). He has expertise in viral immunology and vaccine development. Dr. Qinglai Meng research interests include NK cells oriented immunotherapy against virus infection or tumor, Vaccines against virus infection, Immunopathogenesis of HCV, HIV infection or HIV/TB co-infection.
