Biography

Highly qualified in the field of Industrial Waste Management and Pollution Control, besides Catalysis and Nanotechnology as evidenced by my academic achievements and the industrial projects I worked on. Experience includes academic research and teaching works in Japan, Germany, the United States, and Saudi Arabia, as well as initiating and leading industrial research projects in Egypt, and jointly with the United states of America. Teaching experience includes teaching courses of General & Medical Chemistry, Environmental Management and Instrumentation for undergraduate students in Egypt, USA, and Saudi Arabia.

Research Interest

1. Nanomaterials for environmental applications including photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants in industrial wastewater.
2. New and modified adsorbents for removal of heavy metals in wastewater.
3. Membrane technology for wastewater treatment
4. phytoremediation of heavy metals in soil and water
5. Recycling of industrial solid wastes
6. Recovery of metal values from industrial solid wastes
