Dr. MARIA GAZOULI is an Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology in the Department of Basic Medical Science Laboratory of Biology, School of Medicine, University of Athens, Greece. He has completed his Bsc. Hons. from School of Biology, University of Athens, Greece and Ph.D from Department of Histology Embryology, School of Medicine, University of Athens, Greece in the year 2003. He is having above 100 publications in all peer reviewed journals.
His research work refers mainly to molecular basis of diseases mainly autoimmune diseases and cancer, and to molecular detection of pathogens and the investigation of the pathogenesis of the diseases they cause to humans and animals.
