Professor Julie Quinlivan is Head of Clinical Governance, Quality and Safety at Ramsay Health Care based at Joondalup Health Campus in Australia and is Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Before this she held senior administrative roles at the University of Notre Dame Australia being ProVice Chancellor and Executive Dean of Medicine, Foundation Dean of Medicine (Sydney) and Foundation Dean of Health (Sydney). In clinical medicine she has been a Head of Unit in three Australian states and has a career clinical focus on high risk pregnancy, teenage and adolescent medicine. Professor Quinlivan has been awarded two international and five Australian Research awards. She has been responsible for establishing several new clinical and research centres in Australia. These new centres include the Werribee clinical school and research centre ($12M); Auburn clinical school and research centre ($12.5M); Lithgow clinical school and research centre ($10M); Cunningham Centre for Palliative Care (collaboration between UNSW, UNDA, SVMH and LCMHC, $3M); and helping develop the Cerebral Palsy Institute (collaboratively secured $3M from NSW Dept Disability for infrastructure plus $2.5M for Chair from Macquarie Group).
