Biography

Assistant Prof. Ahmed TM Elshennawy has received his PhD (MD) in El-Minya University (Egypt) after a Fellowship at Southern Illinois University (USA) during the period of 1994 - 1998. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor of Histology, Faculty of Medicine in El-Minya University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as a Head of Histology & Cytology Department at Faculty of Medicine, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, Libya. His research has included Hormonal control of spermatogenesis. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as: Best MD thesis of the year 1997 at El-Minya University. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like expert Reviewers for journals like: Journal of Cytology & Histology, Endocrinology & Metabolic Syndrome, Journal of Pulmonary & Respiratory Medicine, Journal of Nutritional Disorders & Therapy, Epidemiology: Open Access, Family Medicine & Medical Science Research, Reproductive System & Sexual Disorders, Translational Medicine, Emergency Medicine: Open Access, Journal of Carcinogenesis & Mutagenesis, Journal of Leukemia, Journal of Clinical Case Reports, Health Care: Current Reviews, Chemotherapy: Open Access, Dentistry: Open Access, Journal of Haematology & Thromboembolic Diseases and Journal of Communication Disorders, Deaf Studies and Hearing Aids.

He has authored 12 research articles and one book. He is a member of OMICS Group Reviewers, Egyptian Society of Histology & Cytology (ESHC) and Egyptian Society of Progenitor Cell Research (ESPCR).

Human Histology, Cell Biology, Cytology, Histochemistry, Histopathology, Immunocytochemistry, Histophysiology, Stereology, Hematology, Endocrinology, Spermatogenesis, Medical Genetics and Tissue Culture.
