Abstract :

When liposuction is used for body contouring most of the time, the final cosmetic results are quite good. The Problem: Frequently associated with abdominal liposuction is the poor skin retraction just above the umbilicus. The aesthetic challenge of this area is due to persistence of loose skin around the umbilicus caused by poor and uncontrolled retraction of peri-umbilical skin after liposuction surgery. The Solution: To overcome this problem and to achieve a smooth belly button we propose the use of a new device �??patent pending- called Post Liposuction Umbilical Support (P.L.U.S.).
