Abstract :

Despite rapid advances in vaccine science, inequitable access remains a critical global challenge. This presentation examines translational and policy-level barriers that limit vaccine availability in low- and middle-income countries. Drawing on recent experiences from COVID-19 and other emerging infections, the talk outlines strategies for technology transfer, regional man ufacturing, and regulatory harmonization to improve global vaccine equity.

Biography :

Priya Nandakumar is a public health virologist and senior scientist at ICMR, India. Her research focuses on vaccine devel opment, implementation science, and global health equity. She has contributed to national and international vaccine policy initiatives.
