Abstract :

In this talk, we describe aesthetic surgery of the male external genitalia, in specific: surgical methods of penile lengthening surgery, penile thickening surgery and management of the prepuce in circumcision and redo circumcision along with advancements in this area. Furthermore, we describe the indications, contraindications, key steps and important points in the preoperative, perioperative and postoperative care of patients undergoing these procedures. Finally, we compare the advantages and disadvantages of existing different surgical strategies. Aesthetic Surgery of the Genitalia in Females There is a growing popular interest in and demand for procedures which cosmetically alter female genitalia to appear more symmetric, uniform, full and youthful. This demand has spurred controversy within the medical community as to when these procedures are medically indicated, which procedures should be considered acceptable, and how to develop a standard of Best Practices in this new and expanding field. Currently, labiaplasty, labia majora resection, mons lift, clitoral hood reduction, mons pubis and labia majora volume augmentation are the most common procedures being performed. These procedures seem to create high satisfaction and have relatively few Complications.

He has an active license of Florida State Medical. He is currently working as a Professor, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, USA.
