histopathological findings and the use of immunohistochemical markers relevant to many cases of forensic diagnosis is beyond the scope of this chapter, the most important aspects should be presented. This includes recommendations for organ samples and technical procedures as well as a discussion of some of the major forensic situations in which histology may be essential.histopathology deals with the assessment of histological findings in any forensically relevant context and their significance as forensic evidence, with the ultimate goal to serve proper administration of justice. An autopsy is not complete and reviewable without histology. Clinical/surgical histopathology is beyond the scope of this article.
