The male reproductive system consists of different sex organs and these all form the human reproductive process. In this type of reproductive system, these sex organs are situated outside the body, near to the pelvic region. The main male sex organs are the penis and the testicles which yield semen and sperm, which, as part of sexual intercourse. Further, fertilize an ovum in the female's body. The fertilized ovum (zygote) develops into a fetus, which is later born as a child. Conforming equivalent among females is the female reproductive system. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views.
